I fell in love with romance at a young age thanks to books I’d pilfered from my mom’s stash. Years later, I still love reading romance almost as much as I love writing it. However, I’m not one of those people who always knew they wanted to be a writer. I switched colleges twice (and changed majors too many times to count), traveled around a bit, then got a job bartending before I finally graduated with a degree in psychology. Even then, I knew I wanted to do something else with my life. It took a while, but I finally figured it out and now the voices in my head finally have an outlet!
When I’m not plotting or writing, I love to travel with my husband. Saint Augustine is one of my favorite places to getaway to because it’s close to the beach and the town is rich in history. I write romantic suspense, erotic romance, and paranormal romance, but no matter the genre, Happily Ever After is always a must.

- 2007 – Charter Oak Romance Writers Golden Acorn Excellence in Writing Award – 3rd place in Contemporary Category (unpublished contest). Placed with Love in the Ancient City (now titled City of Secrets and published with TWRP).
- 2008 – Placed 2nd in Inland Valley RWA’s Put Your Best Hook forward (unpublished) contest.
- 2008 – North Texas RWA Great Expectations Contest – 1st place in erotic romance category (unpublished). Placed with Running From the Past and subsequently sold to Ellora’s Cave.
- 2009 – 3rd place in Passionate Ink’s Passionate Plume (published) contest in the contemporary category. Placed with Running From the Past.
